In the beginning, when God was creating almost everything, it began with “God said” and when God was going to curse Adam, Eve and d serpent for their disobedience, it began with “He said”. Gen1:27 says God created mankind in His own image – your image is like a picture of you, it won’t have features of another person so it’s what is taken with the camera that will be reproduced on it and we know God is a spirit, therefore God gave us a carbon copy of His Spirit that comes with the coolest features ever lol like the ability to speak things into existence, etc. Yes man fell as a result of sin and lost a lot of these features but man didn’t loose the ability to speak. You can either speak positive or negative things into your life and people around, after a while, it will manifest. Even the negative part but as a child of God, the blood has redeemed you from all curses(once you pray and walk in that understanding, you are free) and when a negative word is spoken against you, you can use the same word to counter it but that’s not even the point for tonight.
The only person that is allowed to speak negative words into your life as a Christian and it will manifest is yourself. Many times I hear (and I have been guilty many times too?) people say “mehn I’m so stupid”, “I am soo dumb”, “can I be more foolish?”, “this country can never get better”, etc and I’m like ?? only if these people understood the kind of power their tongues have. I have seen people that things went bad for on several levels because of negative pronouncements they unknowingly made on their own lives.
I just want to encourage us to watch what we say to ourselves, other people (because it’s a fundamental principle that you reap what you sow) and every other thing around us, especially when we are angry and even when it is meant to be a joke.
The funny thing is that it most times takes less energy to speak good things so why speak bad? Lol “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. – Mark 11:23
Have a fruitful week!
