So at random times, as I feel led by the Holy Spirit, I will mention a few interesting things about Him.

The passage above says you will receive power and the ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. That was Jesus talking to His disciples just before His Ascension. Our example for tonight’s short talk on the Holy Spirit is Peter.

I guess we all know Peter, he’s prolly the most popular disciple after Judas because Peter then to me was like someone that talked too much ? so much that he could tear a lion apart with his mouth but when the lion appears, he’d wet his pants lol. Don’t laugh at him cos many of us are very much like him lol.

So back to the point, after Peter swore that he would never deny Jesus and even seemed like he was angry at Jesus for making such statement, he did it 3 times lol. That was Peter.

But something very interesting happened in Acts 2, Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit and this same peter that denied Jesus in front of a maid was the same Peter that was the vessel used to win 3000 souls at once. When i read it, my mouth was open, like is this not Peter again? In chapter of the same book, this same Peter through the name of Jesus by faith made the lame walk. This same Peter that his faith failed him when Jesus called him to walk with Him on water.

What made the difference in Peter’s life? The HOLY SPIRIT.
God has promised in the Bible to pour out His Spirit on you regardless of race, color, height, etc. All you need to do is ASK.

Let’s also note more importantly that one of the major purposes of God sending His Spirit is so you can be His witness on earth. If you are waiting till you have the opportunity to travel the world before witness, that may not happen so be ready to start from your immediate surrounding.
