As humans, we make mistakes and that’s a fact. If you had been following our past teachings, at some point, we spoke about several inheritances (physical and spiritual) that come from being born of man or flesh or water and being born of the Spirit, some of the Spirit own as mentioned previously were the inheritance of the ability to be free from sin, limits, etc. My point is that there are tendencies we slip at one point or the other (bearing in mind that we are to walk towards not slipping at all which is a part of perfection that can be only attained through God and we have access to Him through Christ). The passage in the image shows how much God hates it when we try to cover our sins and i’ll use andp example that God helped me understand through someone a while back.

Do you remember the fig tree Jesus cursed? (Mark 11:12-25) So on this day I was wondering why will Jesus curse a tree because it didn’t give Him fruit to eat. I mean, hello, it’s Jesus. He fed 5000men so I am certain He didn’t do it because of hunger but i was still confused and I researched on fig trees, I got to understand that when all the leaves of a fig tree is out, fruits should be abundant on the tree but there was a problem the tree was not in it’s season and yet the leaves were out. Later the Holy Spirit took me back the Adam and Eve in Gen 3:7, when they realized they were naked, the first thing they did was sew makeshift cloth to cover their nakedness from God with Fig leaves i.e they committed sin and they realized their nakedness, instead of going to God for mercy, they went to look for fig leaves to cover their nakedness which was as a result of sin so they tried to use the leaves to cover sin from God. Yes, this same fig leaves was all the tree was offering Jesus too and this angered Him to the point of cursing it. Yes He hates covering of sin that much and tbh why cover when you can ask for mercy and work towards becoming better?
