There is a very simple principle in this passage and let me say that principles work, whether we are aware or not.

So 3 keywords: rewarder, diligently and seek. A rewarder is someone that gives something in return for a good or evil deed. To be DILIGENT means to put an unusual amount of effort into something or energetic effort. To SEEK can mean to go in search for, to try to acquire or gain, etc.

Now let’s rephrase the word for better understanding. God is the person that’s gives you something in return for the good deed of putting energetic effort into searching for or trying to acquire or gain more knowledge of Him and His interests. Let me say that unlike man’s reward, God’s reward is permanent, more satisfying, etc. By God’s grace we will talk about people He rewarded to see their rewards and their lives.

How do you gain knowledge of Him and His Interests? The first way is through His word, the Bible. Another way is through prayer. Others are through reading Holy Spirit inspired books, listening to messages, etc.

So asides you becoming a better person through seeking God DILIGENTLY, He also rewards you for it. Sounds awesome right? It’s like getting paid well for doing your homework lol.

So I encourage us, let’s start to use this very simple principle and I pray helps to know Him better as we seek Him diligently from today.
