So how much does God love us? The Bible said He gave His only begotten son. Did He give His son to die for His followers alone? No.” But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.” – Romans 5:6, some other versions say while we were sinners but i love how the message puts it. Even when we were useless to Him, He still sent His own only begotten son to die for us.
He sent the only son He begot to the world to be beaten and dealt with by mere mortals – you can imagine how God felt. Pause, think about it, imagine a king sending his only biological son that grew up be a perfect young man to be used as sacrifice for people of his kingdom, to be beaten, maltreated, etc by common peasants. If i was the prince, to be honest, i would have run very far from my Father’s kingdom or since i had the power to say no, i would have just no thank you daddy ?. But yet Jesus didn’t say no, this goes out to show you how much He(Jesus) also loves you. He was willing to go through the pain when He could have easily been lounging in heaven just to make sure you are free from all the bondages of the devil which includes sin, etc

So when next the question pops in your head about God loving you or how much, just think about this and be rest assured that you are loved.
